World of Concrete 2011
In January, 1,900 exhibiting companies and more than 50,000 registered industry professionals descended on Las Vegas, Nevada for World of Concrete (WOC). We at CMC Construction Services are proud to say that we were there with our parent company CMC and all other divisions of the CMC family. Attendees included commercial contractors, concrete contractors, ready mix producers, rental center managers, and concrete pumpers.
With more than 900,000 square feet of exhibit space where products, resources, and information related to concrete construction were shared and displayed there was more than enough to keep the attendees busy for the week that WOC runs.
Besides vendor displays, there were demonstrations and seminars open to attendees. These demonstrations represented actual work site conditions and situations where attendees can see products they are interested in demonstrated and have their questions answered. Some seminars gave attendees the opportunity to become certified in a specific field. Some examples of seminar topics include concrete production, concrete technology, and leadership & management.
