Zimmerman Bridge Replacement

Spartanburg, South Carolina

The Zimmerman Bridge in Spartanburg, South Carolina is being replaced because of significant signs of deterioration. The current bridge is over 40 years old and is unable to accommodate the amount of traffic on the bridge. The new bridge will increase motorist safety and accommodate the large vehicles that utilize the roadway.

Donald Jackson (81) worked with the contractor to supply all construction products on this job including Shep 1107 Premium Grout and Shep Poxy.

The new 60 ft. bridge is being constructed using Meva Imperial. All forming material and concrete accessories are being shipped from our branch in Greer, SC.

The new Zimmerman Bridge is expected to be complete in January 2010.
