ODOT Road Construction

Catoosa, Oklahom

Road widening and bridge construction in Catoosa, Oklahoma is underway where I-44 meets 193rd East Ave. The area is known as dysfunction junction carries more than 90,000 cars each day.  The aging bridge often causes traffic congestion and long drive times.

The $64 million project was scheduled to begin in 2011 but with a donation from the Cherokee Nation, Becco Contractors was able to begin work this fall.

Rick Hinman (26) supplied both concrete accessories and rental hardware on the project. Meva Imperial and Meva Lite are being used for drainage structures in the road widening. Concrete accessories and equipment include: hammer drills, generators, cure and epoxy slab bolster.

The area in which the construction is taking place is seeing excessive growth which includes the recent construction of a new Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Thanks to Rick and all the employees in Tulsa for their hard work on this project.
