University of South Florida Visual and Performing Arts Center

Skanska is working on a $36-million, 103,536-sq-ft Visual and Performing Arts Center at the University of South Florida. This project includes facilities to for educating approximately 400 music majors, as well as adequate specialized space to facilitate the unique performance needs in educating artists/musicians.

Tilt-Con is serving as the concrete subcontractor on the 127-panel tilt-up building. Steve Butler (61) supplied the complete rental and CRP package on this project. MevaLite, braces, helical anchors and column forms were rented while NS Grout, lumber, wire mesh and other accessories were sold on the job.
