Manhattan Bridge Decorative Concrete

Tulsa, Oklahoma

Manhattan Road and Bridge is utilizing our CHROMIX-It Liquid Color Machine for a project with the City of Tulsa. Steve Roberts recently poured a test sample for the City to ensure the color could resemble brick pavers on a sidewalk. There were several benefits to using liquid color on the project:

  • The color mixed easily in the concrete mixer at less than 100 revolutions.
  • The contractor did not have to throw powder color hardener.
  • The powder would have also been difficult to float due to the 30 to 60 degree slope from the wall.

The total yards of concrete were 165 and total pounds of color were 6,633.
