Aspen Power Plant

Lufkin, Texas

The first biomass power plant is nearing completion in Lufkin, Texas. Aspen Power will use the facility to produce up to 52 megawatts of energy per hour. To create the energy, the plant will burn wood chips making steam that will power a turbine generator.

Rollin McCleskey (51) sold a truss screed on the jobsite that was used on the loading ramps. The screed had to have special rollers attached to the side in order to allow the screed to drop 6” below the pre-poured edge. The screed was then used up hill to complete the ramps.

Meva Lite and other accessories were sold throughout the project.

Thanks to Rollin McCleskey and the Conroe branch for their work on this jobsite.
