This year the Large Branch trophy was awarded to the San Antonio-W (03) location. Rudy Gonzales and his team had an excellent year with no safety accidents, increased sales and margins, and great inventory management. About the award Gonzales said “Teamwork is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results. Our success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failures, loyalty, and the persistence of our CMC employees.”
The Small Branch of the Year trophy was awarded to the El Paso location. “This branch has been successful because everyone works together toward the common goal, which to provide the best service to every customer”, says Branch Manager Richard Casao.
Congratulations to the employees at San Antonio-W and El Paso! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to CMC Construction Services.
Showing Off Our New Contractor’s Lounge!
Recently, our location on Irving Blvd. in Dallas had an Open House on Thursday to showcase its new Contractors Lounge, and it was a huge success! More than 100 customers were able to enter a random drawing for terrific giveaways such as a 50 inch flat screen TV and many great tools that were donated by our selected vendors.
A free lunch was provided for all the customers, and vendor booths were set up throughout the store. Thanks to the awesome sales team at Construction Services, the vendors received a record amount of orders. They all said this was the best Open House they had ever participated in.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this event a fun and successful day!
Conroe Showroom Merchandising

Conroe, TX
Our Conroe (55) branch recently updated its merchandising layout in the showroom. The goal was to improve our customer’s shopping experience by creating a showroom that was cleaner, had a better flow, and was less cluttered.
The changes included: relocating saw blades for easier viewing, consolidating hand tools to one area, moving higher demand products closer to the sales counter, and establishing a display area for equipment.
These changes allow inside sales a better view of where customers are in the showroom and make it easier to assist customers with finding products. The showroom now runs more efficiently and inside sales is striving to make each customer have the best shopping experience possible.
This was a team effort by everyone at the branch with special thanks to: Rafael Castillo, Steve Spence, Esteban Martinez and Cornelio Martinez for their hard work in re-merchandising the showroom.

Annual Corpus Christi Shrimp Boil
The Annual Customer Appreciation Shrimp Boil at our Corpus Christi location is one of the favorite events for our customers and employees. This long standing tradition is held each December as a way to show thanks to our customer for their ongoing business.
Each year the branch asks vendors to participate in this event and this year Kraft, Euclid Chemical, BASF, Meadow Burke, Husqvarna, and ABT helped prepare lunch and serve our customers. Gary Woltersdorf (02), Carlo DeSanto (02), and Rudy Gonzales (03) came in from our San Antonio branches to lend a hand as well.
Congratulations to all the employees in the Corpus Christi branch for another successful shrimp boil!
