Fort Worth’s New West 7th Street Bridge

Fort Worth, Texas

Fort Worth, Texas

The $26 million West 7th Street Bridge was completed in November 2013, with work beginning in January 2012 and onsite work starting May 2013. This project replaces a century old bridge with a wider driving surface and wider pedestrian walkways. It is also the world’s first precast network arch bridge which allowed for completion in less than 150 days as opposed to a traditional design which would have taken over a year.

Steve Holley (24) and Mike Svob (24) worked with Sundt to provide a full range of products including chemicals, epoxies, fasteners, tools, lumber, turnbuckles, and braces. This project was a joint effort between our Fort Worth branch and our North Texas Rental location.

Thanks to Steve and Mike for their hard work on this project.
