Ouachita River Bridge

Harrisonburg, LA

Harrisonburg, LA

Louisiana Department of Transportation has begun construction of a new bridge in Harrisonburg, Louisiana. The bridge was first built in 1932 and has been considered in “poor standing” for some time. The bridge sees 1,900 motorists each day and will continue to be a vital part of the area’s population and farming community.

Our Alexandra branch is working closely with Gilchrist Construction supplying the chemicals, curing blankets, small tools and other materials for this $47M project.
