Laredo International Airport

Laredo, Texas

Price Construction www.priceconstruction.com has begun reconstruction on the cargo apron and runway upgrades at the Laredo International Airport. The reconstruction of the cargo apron will improve safety and increase the capacity of loads that can be delivered to the airport. The three renovated runways will make it possible for up to 35 Boeing 737s to be serviced once the reconstruction is complete

CMC Construction Services (DAMCO) in Jackson, MS manufactured the dowel baskets for this project.  Matt Shepherd (02) worked in conjunction with DAMCO to provide the baskets and several CRP products including epoxy and curing compound.

With these improvements and expansions Laredo hopes to become a major cargo hub for the United States, Mexico and Latin America.
